Rosalind Wade
Artist
Rosalind Wade was adopted from China and brought to America at three years old. Her practice focuses on an examination of her multicultural identity, intense observation of organic forms, and tackling different media. Before she mastered English, Rosalind
used drawings to communicate, fascinated by the powerful language of color. Her work has been exhibited in the Merit Show, at the William and Mary School of Education, and the Peninsula Fine Arts Center. She is the recipient of The Maine College of Art
Presidential Scholarship and the Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center Scholarship. She has a BFA in Painting from the Maine College of Art and Design.
