Rosalind Wade

Rosalind Wade earned her BFA at the Maine College of Art & Design and is currently a professional artist based in Richmond, VA. Adopted from China at the age of three, her current work as a young artist explores her multicultural identity via an intense observation of organic forms in different media including oil painting, relief plaster, printmaking and charcoal drawings. Her work has been exhibited at the Gallery in the Valley, Geneseo, NY, the Maine College of Art & Design Merit Show, the William and Mary School of Education and the Peninsula Fine Arts Center. She is a recipient of The Maine College of Art & Design Presidential Scholarship and a Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center Scholarship.
